Global Citizenship Education Project
In November, 30 S1-3 students with a keen interest in social issues participated in the Global Citizenship Education Programme, initiated by AFS, a non-profit organization dedicated to intercultural exchange. The programme included two classroom sessions and four training workshops, where students explored various global current issues related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) set by the United Nations, all conducted in English. Throughout the programme, students engaged in group discussions, presented their ideas through infographics, and conducted extensive reading on diverse topics. This experience helped sharpen their English speaking, reading, and critical thinking skills. They reflected on their daily behaviors as global citizens, showing a genuine interest in making a difference. Additionally, students participated in an Intercultural Fair to gain insights for their proposals aimed at solving local problems.
The winners of the proposal writing competition will be awarded a free exchange tour in August 2025. We look forward to sharing more good news as the students continue their journey in global citizenship!
